Since 1982 we’ve trained, supported and encouraged local young people to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive employment marketplace. Apprenticeships are nationally recognised qualifications, fully supported by employers to bring young people into the workplace and develop real skills, with real wages.Commercial clients benefit from our instructor led Microsoft training courses offering total flexibility in course content and delivery in addition to our Apprenticeships and NVQ’s. From our centres in Gateshead, Newton Aycliffe and Middlesbrough we work closely with a diverse mix of regional employers developing the aspirations and talents of local people whilst also addressing issues relating to recruitment, training, staff development and the subsequent benefits for all concerned.
AGE 16 - 17 Grant Update
Take-up from employers for the Age 16 - 17 Grants across the region proved extremely popular and encouraged a great many employers to take on an unemployed 16 - 17 year old as an Apprentice before the closing date of 31st March. Employers unable to benefit from the grant can still secure many benefits by taking on an Apprentice and the National Apprentice Service (NAS) will pay the training costs for all 16 - 18 year olds who take an Apprenticeship.
