Apprenticeships - Customer Service

We all appreciate the importance of an excellent Customer Service experience, and as needs and expectations constantly change it is a high priority for all involved to meet those expectations. Our region is recognised for its delivery of high levels of professional customer-focused services by individuals and teams who value their customers and are able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, patience and commitment in a non-judgemental way.

An Apprenticeship in Customer Service is designed for those who are in contact with both internal and external customers, either face to face, via telephone, email or fax in a variety of environments including reception, retail, sales or contact centres.

An Advanced Apprenticeship in Customer Service is designed for those who have responsibility for either teams or individual colleagues, building confidence and relationships, whilst demonstrating initiative in a variety of sectors and industries. The importance of high level customer service skills in the UK is growing. Many employers are highlighting their need for employees with specific customer handling, communication and problem solving skills. There are no formal entry requirements as all applicants for Apprenticeships are assessed individually.
