Courses

Advice & Guidance
Any setting involving advice and guidance is ideal for this qualification such as, advice centres or training establishments, also customer service advisors, help desk advisors or careers advisors

Business & Administration
This qualification offers a huge variety of activities including handling information, operating IT systems and office equipment, progressing to supervisory roles with responsibility for planning, innovation and development. All businesses need excellent administrative suupport in departments such as HR, Finance and Marketing.

Customer Service
Chosen by those who are happiest in contact with people, usually customers. This may be face to face, by telephone, email or fax, in a variety of roles including reception, retail, sales or contact centres. It's an advantage to enjoy communicating with others.

IT Practitioner/Professional
Changing technologies drives demand for business management, systems, operation, networking, programming and software development skills. An Apprenticeship in ICT will suit those working in ICT support, maintenance or a trouble-shooting capacity looking to constantly update their knowledge or new systems.

ITQ (IT User)
These qualifications are aimed at people who use IT as part of their job and cover activities such as word processing, email and internet use, and working with artwork and imaging. Level 3 is more specialised and is aimed at professionals using the full functionality of applications for complex tasks.

Learning & Development

Suitable for those working in a training and learning role, or wishing to develop individual training skills. Ideal for anyone who delivers or develops learning and training programmes, or supporting learners through coaching and mentoring.
Communication Technology Practitioner/Professional
Qualifications are aimed at technicians working with IT systems and equipment. With these qualifications there's potential to work as an engineer (network, software and hardware), or in cabling or fault finding and repair.

Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools
Learning support staff play a vital role within school and school related settings. This qualification helps to increase their skills, knowledge and understanding enabling them to succeed in a range of learning support roles. This qualification is not approved for candidates under 16 and restrictions may apply to candidates under 18 working unsupervised with children.

Sales and Telesales
Suitable for those who work in a sales role, especially with day to day customer contact, either over the phone or face to face in a broad range of businesses.
Team Leading & Management
Suitable for those individual who are in supervisory / management positions and keen to develop their management skills. These qualifications are applicable across all business sectors and organisations.
