Go Girl, Go…......

Inundated by a flood of applications for a junior office assistant vacancy proved a daunting task for Libby Roberts at Robson Scott Associates in Darlington.  One phone call however from ITEC streamlined the whole process providing candidates already vetted and backed by personal recommendation.

One such candidate was Rachele Walton.  Following initial assessments and starting her NVQ Level 2 in Business & Administration, ITEC staff quickly spotted Rachele had personality and enthusiasm in abundance.  Her CV was submitted to Robson Scott and during interview she made such a strong first impression, Libby had no hesitation in offering her the posiition earlier this year.

Rachele’s quickly established herself within their team, always willing to answer phones, tackle filing, help with mailshots, never afraid to ask questions and taking plenty of notes, helping to understand clients in the sensitive area of dept management and insolvency.  Recognising her strengths within the business, Rachele is now an IVA Drafter taking more responsibility for legal documentation and greater client involvement.

Rachele’s career prospects look extremely promising with ambitions to complete Level 2 & 3 Business Administration, hopefully followed by insolvency qualifications.  Great news considering Rachele left school at 15 with disappointing GCSE results and time studying Hair & Beauty at college even though, deep down, she wanted to follow a similar career path to her sister in accountancy.  Obviously they both have an aptitude for handling and advising others in all matters financial.  “I very much enjoy working at Robson Scott Associates and I am very grateful for all the help I have received from ITEC.  I hope in the future that many more people benefit from ITEC’s resources in the way that I have.”
