What Are Apprenticeships?

Apprenticeships are good news for learners and employers, to play their part in society and in growing the economy.  Apprentices work alongside experienced staff to develop both the practical and personal skills employers really need to run a successful business.  Each nationally recognised qualification is designed by employers, for employers and delivered by ITEC staff in the workplace with total commitment to flexibility and minimal disruption.  Apprentices are able to learn, achieve and contribute from day one whilst employers can reap the rewards of a motivated, confident, productive workforce.

Going forward the new names for the different levels of Apprenticeship will be as follows -

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship (Level 2)
Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3)
Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4)

  • Join more than 240,000 Apprentices in England.
