Apprenticeships – How to Apply
Applying for an Apprenticeship – You’ll be eligible to apply for an Apprenticeship if you live in England and you’re not currently involved with full-time education (school, sixth form or college) or maybe you’re due to leave which is OK. There are no set entry requirements as you’ll have your own individual strengths and skills which will be assessed during our interview process. It’s easy to apply, just click on our online application form and we’ll soon have your details and be in touch.
The selection process is just like any other job application. You’ll be invited to an interview and asked to take tests, which will confirm you are a suitable candidate. ITEC North East (we’re called the learning provider) and employers may both carry out their own interview procedures so it’s best to be prepared. All Apprentices will be employed showing the committment and support employers provide throughtout the whole study process. Apprenticeships can be demanding, but most certainly rewarding and if you want to succeed, you will definitely need to demonstrate commitment.
There is no set time to complete an Apprenticeship as everyone works at their own pace completing a mix of on and off-the-job training however the minimum time for completion is 12 months.
