1. Keyboard shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts are intended to help users who have difficulty in using pointing devices such as a mouse.
The following information details each of the keyboard shortcut commands available to you.

Depending on your browser type use one of the following:
Microsoft Windows Users
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and newer: Hold down the ALT key and select the number / letter of the access key, then press ENTER.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 4: Hold down the ALT key and select the number / letter of the access key.
- Mozilla Firefox: Hold down the ALT key and select the number / letter of the access key.
- Netscape 6 and newer: Hold down the ALT key and select the number/letter of the access key.
- Netscape earlier versions: Access keys are not supported.
Apple Macintosh Users (MacOS X only)
- Apple Safari: Hold down the CONTROL key and select the number / letter of the access key.
- Mozilla Firefox: Hold down the CONTROL key and select the number / letter of the access key.
- Mozilla: Hold down the CONTROL key and select the number / letter of the access key.
- Internet Explorer 5 and newer: Hold down the CONTROL key and select the number / letter of the access key.
- Internet Explorer 4.5: Access keys are not supported.
2. Keyboard shortcuts to pages within each section
Within each section (Apprenticeships, Employers, Newsletters, Contacts) there are multiple pages. These are listed down the right hand side
of the page in the "Options" menu.
For each item in a list of options a numerical shortcut key is assigned, according to where it appears in the list. For example, the first item on the list
below (General Contact Information) would use the key combination of ALT and 1 as a shortcut, and the third item (Maps) in the list would use the keys ALT
and 3 as a shortcut.

3. Text Size
This website has been designed to be viewed with the text set to "Medium" in Microsoft Internet Explorer, or "Normal" in Mozilla Firefox.
To increase or decrease the text size on screen:
Microsoft Windows Users
- Microsoft Internet Explorer: From the "View" menu, move the mouse pointer to "Text Size". Within this menu, select "Largest", "Larger", "Medium", "Smaller" or "Smallest".
- Mozilla Firefox: From the "View" menu, move the mouse pointer to "Text Size". Within this menu, select "Increase", "Decrease" or "Normal".
- Mozilla: From the "View" menu, move the mouse pointer to "Text Zoom". Within this menu, select a percentage size (100% being the normal size).
- Netscape: From the "View" menu, move the mouse pointer to "Text Size". Within this menu, select "Increase", "Decrease" or "Normal".
Apple Macintosh Users (MacOS X only)
- Apple Safari: From the "View" menu, select either "Make Text Bigger" or "Make Text Smaller".
- Mozilla Firefox: From the "View" menu, move the mouse pointer to "Text Size". Within this menu, select "Increase", "Decrease" or "Normal".
- Mozilla: From the "View" menu, move the mouse pointer to "Text Zoom". Within this menu, select a percentage size (100% being the normal size).
