Operations Administration Apprentice

Full Job Description:

  • Answer telephones, take details, assist where required and transfer to appropriate staff member
  • Liaise with suppliers to arrange and confirm bookings
  • Meet and greet clients and visitors
  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office
  • Input sales and purchase invoice details into Sage
  • Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to : photocopying, e-mails, mail, and filing
  • Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system
  • Sign for and distribute packages
  • Coordinate and maintain company records
  • Support and assist members of staff

Desired Skills:

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and to be PC literate. This is normally acquired through one to three years of clerical experience.
