FUNCTION OVERVIEW

The primary function of this role is to assist administration as part of the business as usual function

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • To answer all incoming phone calls and warm transfer to the appropriate person(s)
  • To record new jobs and action as appropriate, allocate those jobs to the correct Adjuster
  • To ascertain correct Surveyor or Associate to arrange a site visit
  • To greet visitors and make refreshments, acting professional and courteous always
  • To follow technical instruction and policy within the office
  • To ensure post is actioned and sent out each day
  • To action diarised cases, chase up Associates/Suppliers and advise Clients of present position
  • Issue reminder letters, Interim Status reports,
  • Record Invoices to be sent to Clients
  • Action banking ensuring correct procedures are followed
  • Action filing

KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE

  • The support of telephony assistance
  • To be professional and welcoming to visitors, suppliers and guests
  • To have excellent communication skills with customers & peers
  • To be self-motivated and able to manage your own workload
  • To carry out other activities as required by the business

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 13 and above applications
  • Knowledge of a target driven environment
  • Knowledge of Excel

Hours are Monday to Friday 9-5

Salary is £3:50 per hour
