Business Administration Apprentice

The role will include:

  • Enquiry Management
  • Project Files Creation/Maintenance
  • Customer Interfacing
  • Understanding of customer drawings
  • Equipment Breakdowns
  • Costing and price calculations from pricelists
  • Compiling Quotations
  • Price Authorisation
  • Sales Order Processing / Confirmations / Allocation of Stocks
  • Purchase order review and order acceptance
  • Customer Equipment Specification Administration
  • Project reporting
  • MRP System Administration
  • Installation Fitting Packs
  • Final Accounts
  • Invoicing
  • General Administrative Support
  • To take an active part in the introductions of new processes and working tools within the Business Unit
  • Involvement in continuous improvement ideas / lean six sigma processes
  • Undertake additional duties as requested by the Business Unit Manager

 

The qualifications you will receive

  • You will work towards a an advanced apprenticeship Level 3 in Business Administration

Entry requirements

  • 5 GCSE’s C & above, including English, Maths
  • A solid knowledge of – Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook & Power-Point

Desirables

  • To have studied business in either 6th form, college or university
  • To have experience of working in a busy office environment

Salary

  • 16+ £9750
  • 18+ £11,700

Hours of work

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
  • 30 minutes unpaid lunch

Expected course duration

  • 12 – 18 Months
