HR Apprentice Administrator

Job Purpose

• To provide daily administration support to the HR Administrator and HR Advisors

Main
Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming calls and transfer to the relevant contact
• Manage our client’s probation reviews by sending reminders and appropriate
paperwork to the relevant point of contact
• Create letters using the correct template in the quality controlled system as
directed
• Ensure that all client employee files are kept up to date with filing on a weekly
basis
• Chasing clients for required documentation such as signed contracts, probation
reviews etc.
• Maintaining and updating client records as required
• Complete file audits for our clients in relation to their employee files, this will
include scanning in documents and completing spread sheets with
required/relevant information
• Support the HR Administrator and Adviser(s) by completing tasks as required

• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and written
• The ability to work effectively as part of a small team
• Can work on projects and tasks individually and have the judgement to ask for help
when needed
• Good IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel
• Good organisational skills and manage and prioritise workloads when needed
• High levels of detail and accuracy
• You will have (or have been predicted) at least (or equivalent) grade A-C in English
and Mathematics.

Apprenticeship
Framework

The Apprentice will be required to complete either NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration
or NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration depending upon qualifications.

The apprenticeship will last for 12 – 18 months dependent upon the level of NVQ

Your working hours will be 37.5 hours per week and your wage will be the National Apprenticeship Wage £3.50 per hour.
