Digital Administrators are found in all sectors. The broad purpose of the occupation is to support a business with administrative tasks as well as using digital technologies to maximise productivity.
There’s an increasing demand for people who can support and implement these digital operations and digital transformation projects. In this level 3 apprenticeship, you will develop skills that you need to help a business achieve their objectives by maximising the effective use of digital office technologies, productivity software, digital communications, including collaborative technologies, and digital information systems.
You will learn about digital office technologies and digital infrastructure, the handling and storing of data, and the importance of information security for an organisation. You will also gain an awareness of current, emerging and fringe digital technologies.
Your duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets, reports and presentations.
Additionally, you may also be responsible for overseeing/coaching the work of junior admin staff.
