Business Admin Apprenticeship
You will be trained in all aspects of business administration and running a small business. You will be the first point of customer contact and will help process UK and export customer sales orders (phone, email, Internet), provide customer support and after-sales service, plus purchasing, production planning, freight forwarding, debtor chasing etc. You will be trained on Sage 50 Accounts programme and will help operate, maintain and improve the Company’s Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environment and OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety.) We expect this person to take up a permanent business administration position in our company on successful completion of the programme.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently from own initiative.
- Confident professional manner when dealing with customers over telephone, email and in person.
- Strong attention to detail and an enthusiastic ‘can do‘ attitude where prepared to apply equal effort to more mundane tasks such as manual stock checks and customer repairs.
- Strong literacy skills in writing customer emails. Basic Excel skills are a bonus but in-house training can be given.
Hours of Work: 37 per week (9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 4.30pm Friday.)
