This is a small, young and friendly Finance office, with rapid growth the team need an extra pair of hands. In return you will be paid £5 per hour and finish at 2pm on a Friday!

You will maintain a positive and friendly company image acting as the first line of contact to clients, visitors, in person and via telephone. Training and time will be given so you have the tools to do the job

Key Duties

  • Communicates with relevant businesses/individuals, to produce travel itineraries for business directors and employee events
  • Arranges meetings by scheduling appropriate meeting times, booking rooms, and planning refreshments
  • Manages correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail
  • Manages reception area and looks after visitors
  • Answers phone calls and transfers them as necessary
  • Drafts, formats, and prints relevant documents
  • Interacts with directors and carries out their requests
  • Creates agendas and takes meeting notes
  • Manages outgoing post and records data on special deliveries
  • Photocopies and files appropriate documents as needed
  • General administration duties as required in line with the day to day needs of the business

Hours of Work/Wage

Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm

Friday 9am – 2pm

Pay will be above minimum apprenticeship wage.

Scope of Role

The successful candidate will have a real prospect, after completion of the initial apprenticeship, for further training. The role may well develop into an ‘office manager’ position with an above average annual salary to be negotiated.
