As Business Administration Assistant you will provide an efficient and effective clerical and administration support across the business.

Main responsibilities:

  • Undertake administrative tasks, such as photocopying, fax transmissions, processing mail, maintaining filing systems, archives and resource libraries and updating information
  • Use Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Answer the telephone and liaise with staff, clients and other agencies to assist in the delivery of services
  • Produce correspondence and reports from written documents
  • Retrieve data from Client Information Data Base
  • Liaise with staff, clients, and other agencies, to assist operational staff in the delivery of services
  • Accurately input and process data from databases and spreadsheets
  • Minute, produce and distribute accurate records of meetings
  • Administer financial processes, including collection and distributions of monies and banking, processing invoices, arranging countersignature and payments

General:

  • Adhere to all policies and procedures
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained

  • Attend and undertake learning and development as required

Desired qualifications

GCSE in maths and English at grades 7-4/A-C (or equivalent).

Training to be provided

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
