ITEC North East are delighted to once again be working with Able UK in their search for a fantastic Business Administration Apprentice to join their successful team. You’ll get the chance to get involved in a vast array of work including working within procurement, HR and accounts.
Vacancy description
- As the Accounts Department Administrator, you will be the individual responsible for assisting multiple departments covered under the accounts umbrella
- You will be required to offer support and assistance to ensure deadlines are met
- You must be well organised, capable, and reliable in all tasks that you undertake.
- General purchasing admin duties and data collation/creation of excel comparison sheets Update the master excel sheet Approved Vendor Database, where suppliers’ data has expired such as insurance and ISO certification.
- Where applicable, and past 5 years old, a whole new vendor assessment to be issue to multiple suppliers to be re-applied for approval. This will need a level of Q&A session with suppliers and require file server folders updating with information
- Master tracking sheets updating with data relating to orders
- Ensure that all confidential information is filed away and not exposed to other members of staff or visitors
- Provide Reception cover as and when required
- Undertake all admin duties within the HR department
- Provide help within the payroll department
- Scanning and filing of invoices
- Providing support to Purchase Ledger
- General accounts admin duties

- Grade C/4 or above in GCSE maths and English (or equivalent)
Training to be provided
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard which includes:
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
