Brief overview of the role

ERW Joinery are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with an interest in the Manufacturing & Construction Industry to join the team as a Business Administrator.

Vacancy description

The job will hold responsibility and at times you will work under pressure adapting to requirements and administration needs. Once in post you will gain experience and knowledge of the business and become the go to person for general enquiries and queries. Handling enquiries via the telephone, email and face to face demonstrating good communication skills.

Also undertake all other administration duties within the role such as:-

  • • General administrative tasks
  • • Greeting visitors and customers
  • • First point of contact answering telephone calls
  • • Management of CRM System
  • • Assisting customer supervisor
  • • Management of business emails
  • • Arranging & Attending meetings taking minutes
  • • Management of client enquiries
  • • Maintenance of the diary systems
  • • Maintenance of customer contract records
  • • Producing documents and keeping up to date records
  • • Looking at Process Improvements and implementing
  • • Scanning documents, Filing & archiving
  • • First point of contact answering telephone calls
  • • Processing business postage
  • • Management of stationary stock and purchasing
  • • Cover in absence of customer supervisor

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Desired qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and maths at grade C/4 or above

Training to be provided

  • Level 3 Business Administrator standard
  • Functional Skills if required
