ITEC North East is recruiting on behalf of Marmax Products for a business administrative apprentice. If you are someone that has a professional approach to work with strong organisational skills then this could be the ideal role for you.

The job role will be predominantly based in the Sales Office, reporting to the Sales Manager

Sales/Marketing

  • Preparing information for catalogues (from which customers can order our products)
  • Dealing with customer order enquiries and developing cost quotations
  • Customer order receipt and sales order processing
  • Organising the distribution of catalogues and marketing literature
  • Administration support (filing, scanning, reports, presentations)

Customer Service

  • Dealing with customer queries via telephone/email
  • Development opportunity – dealing with customer concerns and recurrence prevention

Manufacturing

  • Creating plaque templates
  • Printing personalized plaques for outdoor furniture

Finance

  • Matching delivery notes to invoices
  • Email and filing

Planning and Despatch

  • Support planning and despatch processes
  • Works order management
  • Organising transport
  • Raising pick and despatch documentation

Potential Development

  • Attend Daily Sales and Operations Meeting
  • Attend Sales and Innovation Meetings
  • Use of the Company IT System (Business Central)
  • Use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
  • Mini Project
  • Improvement project to improve the efficiency and management & control of business processes
  • Understanding the Production Processes
