Salary: £8,385.00 per year

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to work alongside the team as a Business Administration apprentice, supporting the operations of the organisation in our Crook office.

Duties to include:

  • Reception duties to include initial contact to clients and visitors to the office
  • Answering the telephone and passing on messages
  • Sending emails and faxes
  • Photocopying
  • Scanning documents
  • Opening incoming post and distribution within the office
  • Processing the outgoing mail
  • Maintaining and ordering stationary and toner/printer cartridges
  • Maintaining petty cash
  • Logging of cash cheque receipts and banking
  • Closing of files and maintaining our archive system
  • Logging and maintaining our will and deed store
  • In due course, processing to legal secretarial work, including for example, audio typing completion of legal forms and documents
  • All other administrative duties commensurate with the post

Desired qualifications

Minimum of 3 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and maths.

Training to be provided

  • Level 3 Business Administrator standard
