Brief overview of the role

We are looking for a reliable full-time office administrator apprentice that will undertake a variety of day to day administrative tasks to ensure the rest of the staff have adequate support to work efficiently. You will be assisting your colleagues with many tasks throughout the day.

Vacancy description

  • Keeping well-organised files and records up to date. This includes using multiple platforms simultaneously and paper records
  • Communicating with suppliers and vendors
  • Producing invoices, sales orders, purchase orders, process direct debits
  • Sorting post, taking parcels letters to the post office
  • Ordering internal stationery and office supplies
  • Prepare meeting room and facilities for any meetings, and be available to take notes if required
  • Actively assisting in office efficiency to improve workflow
  • Writing and editing company correspondence
  • Preparing and sending quotes
  • Ensure all administrated steps are met, to ensure smooth flow of a job, i.e. quote sent through to order a delivery of goods and finally invoiced
  • Book in jobs and ensure Engineer has been to site/repaired faults, complete any updates or follow-ups with engineer and clients
  • Be part of the team to help and support other departments within the workplace, also be available to take on other administrative tasks

Training to be provided

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
