ITEC North East are delighted to introduce our new Distance Learning courses. Through Distance Learning, learners will have the opportunity to access information, teaching and qualifications from the comfort of your own home. Over the course, you will spend up to 8 weeks learning all the information you need from our prestigious tutors. The best part is, if you’re eligible it’s completely free!
If you’re looking to work in roles such as a counsellor, housing support worker, peer mentor or career advisor, where Information, Advice and Guidance are mandatory then this course is for you.
The course will teach you the fundaments of sharing information successfully and safely.
At the end of the course, you will come away with a nationally recognised qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance.
This qualification could assist you in finding employment in a multitude of roles such as HR Assistant and a Recruitment Coordinator role. Alternatively, you could further your continuous development and enrol onto another of our Distance Learning courses.
To be eligible for the course you will need to meet the criteria listed below:
This course is currently being subsidised by ITEC NE and is, therefore, free of charge at present UNLESS you fail to complete it; in which case you will be liable to pay £75 to cover the cost of materials and administration plus any registration costs that may have been incurred.
Courses are fully funded for people who have lived in England for the past three years and are classed as “home fee-paying students”, are aged 19 years or over and are not currently accessing any other government funding.
Please note there is a non-completion fee of £75 if you have to be withdrawn from the course.
