As of the 1st of April 2019, the Apprenticeship fee for non-levy paying businesses was halved fr0m 10% to 5%. Currently, an Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship will cost you £1400. From Monday, April 1st, the new 5% fee to pay is ONLY £700! And this doesn’t only apply to new apprentices. If you’re looking to upskill existing staff, this is the perfect way to do it. Retraining your existing staff will give them the opportunity to expand their knowledge into other fields and to meet your business goals. It’s extremely cost-effective and the benefits it can have on your business are endless.

 

Do you have less than 50 employees? do you have a salary bill less than £3,000,000?

  • You won’t pay any contributions to the levy.
  • Training for 16-18-year-old, funding is FULLY funded by the government.
  • For apprentices aged 19+, the government will fund 95% of the training costs.
  • You will contribute the final 5%
  • You will receive a government incentive of £1000 for recruiting an apprentice aged 16-18.
  • Members of staff under the age of 25, who are enrolled in an apprenticeship will not be subject to national insurance contribution.

  • 10% fee – £500
  • 5% fee – £250

 

Digital Marketing Apprenticeship:

  • 10% fee – £1100
  • 5% fee – £550

 

Customer Service Apprenticeship:

  • 10% – £350
  • 5% – £175

 

Network Engineer Apprenticeship:

  • 10% – £1700
  • 5% – £850

 

Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship:

  • 10% – £450
  • 5% – £225

 

Software Developer Apprenticeship:

  • 10% – £1800
  • 5% – £900
